The emulator is not itsme, it was designed just to offer you a place where you can get the most from being a member of the community, while letting you taste the flavour of the itsme interaction. By using it, you will be able to evaluate how we have implemented venues, and what they can offer to you. The emulator is part of our “design with us” approach and we are aiming to collect your feedback, in order to refine it with new features and style. We can only improve it over a period of time and use so give it more than a few shots.
Please give us your feedback after trying the emulator by doing the evaluation
(it’s a short survey, it requires only 5 minutes)
Home, venue, items of a venue
Emulator home contains two sample venues. Through the two venues present in the home members are allowed to interact with web contents (i.e., blog posts, both from our website and external sources) and services (i.e., private messaging, bookmarks etc.). No two members have the same profile, which holds true in the case of emulator as well. Stories and venues metaphor can be explored better by interacting with the community through the emulator. |
|
A venue is the place where the user can manage all the different items like messages, media, posts, contacts, and RSS that belong to a particular story lived within the itsme community. itsme community lives two stories: “Itsme Project” where we carryout discussions related to different aspects of the project and The “workstation market scenario” where we discuss topics that trigger new thinking. Emulator provides one venue for each of these. |
|
All different items are organized with different channels within a venue.
People – Acting in a particular story.
Messages - Sent and Received from your contacts.
Posts - Written by you on itsme website or bookmarked by you on itsme website.
Media - Images, videos, etc that is attached with the posts published on itsme website.
RSS - Feeds proposed by itsme community and RSS feeds to your favorite sources. |
