Itsme and Guerrilla Marketing
Our prototype is nearing completion(April) and we want to gear up to spread the word about the new itsme workstation so that our prototype can be tried and tested not only by the exisiting community but many many more. Flawed adoption strategy?
I think you have a weak point in your strategy for users adoption of itsme. In its current form your “venues” interface is set to replace the two major interfaces in Linux, GNOME and KDE, and the whole Windows shell for Windows users. To have success, you’ll need to convince users to switch away from their comfortable and known habits, and that will never happen (at least in the large scale you’ll need to survive).
